A couple years ago my neighbor put up a 50 foot tall antenna for his Cb and HAM radio. Since then I can clearly hear his side of his radio conversations on my TV and am/fm radios. Recently his voice has been coming through on my cordless phones as well.

I have searched online and can not find any record of him having a license to operate at the watts he is using. I have filed complaints with the FCC, local code enforcement and the local building department. Aside form making him get a permit for the antenna, nothing has happened. Every time I talk to the FCC they say I have to wait for the complaint to get to my local office.

I have gotten used to watching TV with his voice in the background, but my wife works out of our home and is on the phone most of the day and has had many clients ask “Who is that guy that I hear in th background?”. I am afraid that she could lose her job, but am told there is nothing I can do.

I have talked to the neighbor, he has tried different setting and radios, but with no change. He says that he is perfectly legal and will not stop playing on the radios. Is there anything else I can do?

I didn’t think there was, but several times now parents have gotten my dad’s cell phone number and called him (I wasn’t in trouble or anything–they were just trying to get a hold of their kids).
I realize that they could have gotten it from other people, but my dad isn’t really friends with any parents and doesn’t know them either. There are seriously no connections that these parents could have had to get his cell number.
I’m just kind of creeped out, and wanna know how people look up cell numbers…

I had an older Sony Ericcson with an awesome ringtone I bought online off AT&T. I got a new phone, and the ringtone is protected, so I can’t bluetooth it, and the site won’t let me buy the ringtone for my new phone because it “isn’t compatible”. And if I do a sound recording of the ringtone on my new phone, it either doesn’t come across loud enough, or it sounds really crappy.
