Alright, to make a VERY long story short…my purse got stolen about a week ago, and even though I was very careful to cancel all my accounts before the thief had time to really screw me over, he did have access to some checks of mine from an account I rarely use. Well, homeboy decided it would be a good idea to pay his T-Mobile bill with one of my checks. Luckily my bank is really cool and I’m not going to be responsible for anything he wrote, but the problem is, he’s got my social security card which makes me supernervous (I’ve already notified the credit agencies). But I would really like to find this S.O.B. Sooooo….I’ve done some research and the Fair Credit Reporting Act gives me the right to demand information about the account my check was attempted to be posted to. So, I call up T-Mobile and they gave me the name of the account and the number. Unfortunately no address because it’s a prepaid phone and with those types of plans, you don’t have to have an address. To make payments, you must have a billing address, but the theif supplied MY billing address to T-Mobile. (He has my drivers license too) So I have just a name and number. I’ve tried to do a white pages lookup of the name, reverse phone lookup and criminal record search but turned up nothing. However, when you call the cell phone number, someone answers. I hung up because I had no idea what to say. I don’t want to scare the theif away because I plan on reporting my findings to the police, but without an address they refuse to help me. I’m thinking about calling the number and pretend to be someone else, like from a company or something, and see if they will "verify" their address for me so I can find them! So my question is, what should I make up to say? I’m not normally a very sneaky person but I really want to find the person who is making my life miserable!

I’ve been selling old 45’s online for a years, and was finally asked for a "needle-drop" recording of a record itself to check the sound quality. Rather than unplugging and moving around my computer or stereo setup, I wondered: I have a Samsung SCH A707 "Sync" phone with a mini-USB jack, MP3 playing, bluetooth and voice recording. Is there some method or app that would let this record audio of the USB? Searching for apps only turns up programs that let you record cell calls, which I don’t need.

It is a privilege to spend 90 minutes with the president of the United States. It is frustrating, though, when 90 percent of those minutes are declared off the record.
President Bush likes it that way, because he gets to speak “frankly” without worrying about how his remarks will be interpreted. Monday, in the on-the-record part of an interview with a small group of newspaper and magazine columnists, the president spoke of progress in Iraq: “I am pleased that the initial skepticism … is beginning to fade, to the point where (the) king of Jordan is going to Iraq; Prime Minister Maliki is going to Abu Dhabi; ambassadors are soon to be exchanged, hopefully.”
The president thinks his commitment to stabilizing Iraq has boosted confidence in other countries: “…the region is beginning to recognize, after a period of uncertainty, that a free Iraq is going to be important to their futures — economic future and political future, because a free and successful Iraq will end up serving as a pushback to Iranian movements in the Middle East.”
He is clearly pleased that funding for the war, which congressional Democrats repeatedly tried to halt, has been approved and will last six months into the new administration, which will allow the next president time to assess progress and make his own decisions. He is equally pleased the House has passed legislation protecting private phone companies who aid the government in eavesdropping on calls to or from suspected terrorists overseas. “…a very important tool (in the war against terrorism) is to listen,” he said. He called on the Senate to pass it “expeditiously.”
The president also reiterated his core philosophy since Sept. 11, 2001: “This is a war that requires the United States to not wait to get attacked, and therefore arrest people after the attack. It is a war that requires us to be proactive and to prevent attacks.” While he refuses to discuss domestic politics, this sounded like a criticism of Barack Obama, who wants to negotiate with America’s terrorist enemies and thinks the legal system can better handle terrorists after they have killed Americans.
Also on the record were the president’s comments about the escalating cost of gasoline. In an apparent jab at Congress, whose Democratic leaders promised to do something about gas prices if given a majority, but have not, the president said, “I would ask people to look at the report Vice President Cheney did early on in this administration about our view of how we should have dealt with this problem in a comprehensive way.” That report included references to the new technologies that allow for oil and gas exploration on American territory and offshore that minimize any threats to the environment.
The rest is conjecture and opinion based on impressions and not on what the president actually said.
While the war in Iraq is going better, the war in Afghanistan is not, causing more people to focus on the problem country rather than the better country. That is understandable to a point, but given the heat the president has taken over Iraq, one might expect him to get more credit now that things have substantially improved from where they were before the troop surge.
Some historians, most of whom are liberal, have already declared President Bush the worst president in history. We talked about this in previous meetings. He has said the worst time to judge a president is when he is in office and that perspectives often change years later when policies have had time to prove themselves (or not) and the political heat generated by partisanship has subsided.
This president still believes freedom can be established in the Arab and Muslim world. I am not as sure of this as he is, especially in nations that believe their brand of Islam is real freedom and our concept of freedom is a license for immoral behavior.
We will have to wait on the outcome to know if he’s right. That outcome will most definitely be on the historical record for future generations to judge.

My husband and myself, agreed to sign up with Sprint for another two (2) years with the condition that we would receive three (3) new phones for each of the renewed phone lines. When speaking with the Sprint representative we told him to only list the Sprint phones that were up for FREE. Among those he listed were the TOUCH BY HTC and Centrino. While on the phone with him, I was doing a review search on the internet and the TOUCH had a better review, so we decided to go for the TOUCH by HTC. The gentleman was very nice and was able to cut our phone bill in half and we were very pleased. But, I did tell my husband to record the call (if they do it to us for their protection, we need to do it for our protection – but he kept insisting everything was fine – and I kept telling him that unless we have something in writing we are not). The next thing you know, the gentleman tells us that he needs to transfer us to a different department because he cannot order the phones on his end. So, here we go. We get transferred – I now leave to take care of our two young children (age 3 1/2 and 2) and by the time I return I am told that he was informed that we were not told we would get the phones for free and there is no way for them to know who we spoke to but for our inconvience, she would be willing to give us she would give us .00 per phone along with the credit for resigning for the contract but would have to come up with an additional .00 for each phone. By this time his was off the phone because I would have stepped in and stopped everything and made them honor the deal that was set forth. Now the phones arrive and they are turned on, the next day, my husband goes to use the phone and it does not work, he calls Sprint and gets a very rude woman who tells him that no such agreement was made and that he needs to make an immediate payment of 0.00 and even with that there was no gurantee the phones would be turned back on. He was so angry at this point he just hangs up, he calls me and is so emotional, he can barely speak, and just blurts out words Sprint, hung up, so angry, can’t talk. I kinda get the gist but figure it is better just to let the matter calm down rather than ask questions and further inflate the situation.
When he comes home, he explains what happens. Now, I step in I call Sprint and get a supervisor Cody who tells me, that it is very much so written on the screen that there was a credit that was to have been applied of 0.00 and I explain the situation with the price of the phones and I tell Cody that by the time I get off the phone with him, there is no guarante that the price of the phones will not change yet again. Cody assures me that he will remain on the line with me until the problem has been resolved (this is a lie). I am put on with what must be the moron of the century John who does not understand what my problem is since I got my 0.00 credit. My husband and I try to explain calmly – we ask John to please explain the price of the phone and we record the call. John states his name that is a representative of Sprint and that no money is owed for the phones. Now please remember two things Cody has said that he will remain on the line till the phone situation is finished and at the begining of every call into a Sprint center it starts with "YOUR CALL MAY BE MONITERED (ANOTHER WORD FOR RECORDED). Now, John has been no help and I want to transferred bank and all Cody says is wait till that reprsentative hangs up, so I wait and John gets annoyed and tells me that no such thing can occur. Now, I am pissed at having been lied to again. I tell John to give me his supervisor which he hems and haws until he finally gives me Ebony. During the conversation where I repeat the whole situation again, . At that point, I had had it. I tell Ebony I have John recorded stating that John has just been recorded stating that we owe nothing for the phones, she tells me I cannot record them, I tell her I most certainly can, if you can record me I most definitely can record you and your telling me you will not honor what your agent just said and then she informs me that my husband agreed to pay 9.00 for each phone. I said enough, enough of these lies, enough of these games thats it. I want to cancel my contract. She says she needs to transfer me to another department and then hangs up on me. I call back and get a wonderful lady named Elca, who bends over backward but I can’t believe anything that is said anymore. Elca does not understand any of it since it was clearly written in the notes that we were supposed to get the phones for free. Elca says she going to send the problem to escalation but surprise no return call.
I decide to call the corporate offices and after much run around I speak to a woman named Jennifer who informs me that several heads will undoubtably role but in the end Sprint will not honor anything and will do nothing to keep us as a customer.
My question is was any of this legal since the only people who will loose their jobs will be the nice gentleman who made a mistake and Elca because she admitted that it was in the system to begin with that we were supposed to get the phones for free. As opposed to John and Ebony for the things that I wrote and other things they did that I did not repeat.

My 13 year old son used his cell phone to record a fight at school?

The fight occurred between two girls and there was a large gathering of kids, and yes it was a stupid thing to do, but the principal confiscated his phone in order to see if he could determine what went on with the fight, which I said was fine. NOW, the police have the phone, my son may now get charged with instigation because on the video, he can be heard laughing and did not try and intervene to stop the fight. The police will return the phone to the school when they have the video copied. How is this instigation? How was it my son’s responsibility to stop the fight, and are they going to charge everyone who was laughing also? Is this illegal search and seizure? The principal said he is not in any trouble with the school, but it is now a police matter. What do I do?
There WERE teachers stepping in and one teacher snatched the phone out of my sons hand and ran off with it.

ok so theres this guy. ill call him bob.i like him. a lot. me, bob, and a few friends were playing bull s***. he said bs to everything i said (including stuff that had nothing to do with the game) i mean i would say hey to someone and he would say bs!! it wasnt annoying or anything, because i definately laughed, but his friend slapped him every time he said it, then whispered something in his ear while looking directly at me every time!!i wasnt right in front of him either. but then when i left i saw a post it in my bag and it had his number on it with a note. " im failing math so my dad took my phone. i cant use it but have my number anyway" and so he has a twin brother. im calling him bill. bill IMs me every day and i guess you could say that we are friends. but lately hes been a little weird talking to me…. and he keeps complimenting me. my friend thinks bill likes me but idk and if he did that would be a HUGE issue i have both bill and bobs cell phone numbers but bill cant find his phone so i dont text him. this is all working out fine, im just a little confused. but heres the catch. i told one of my friends that i liked bob but she hadnt deleted her texts and my other friend who CANNOT keep a secret looked through her texts and now she knows. i mean im not mad at the one friend, because she directly told my other friend NOT to look at her texts. i didnt want to tell the one who cant keep a secret, because before with my ex bf, i hadnt told her and i had told my other friend. but she looked through her emails! so she knew. i didnt think much of it until this one girl who i barely ever talk to came up to me and asked me about my bf. it turned out my friend had told half the grade!!!! she had also told her friend that went to my bfs school, and some other people at his school, to see if they knew him. thank god they didnt, because she would have gotten his cell phone number of email or screen name or something and annoyed the heck out of him to the point that he would have to dump me because she was being so annoying! i dumped him as soon as she asked her friends, but i dont regret dumping him. the next time i saw him was at a dance and he was pole dancing and acting like he was 6. my friend acts like she has to know absolutely everything about my life and she had told us before that if we didnt want to be her friend anymore then we could just say so. so i said so, yesterday. today in school in the middle of chinese she burt out in tears and went on and on about how everyone decided to hate her in a week. and i gave her a hug because she obviously needed it, and now she thinks that im her best friend in the world. she can be awesome at times, but she can also be extremely rude and annoying. she also has a huge lying problem. this really nice girl asked her why her eyes were so red, and she said that she rubbed her eyes a lot in her sleep. she had just been crying for 2 hrs straight. my other other friend pulled her aside to tell her that she heard that and to ask why she lied about it. she said that she didnt lie and she would never lie about something like that. she also lied about my ex bf. she said that her friend at his school looked at her texts. this is what she told me yesterday. 2 months ago she told me that she told her friend to see if she knew him. im really confused because
1) i really dont want to be her friend, but she will burst out in tears if i leave her for 5 minutes
2) i have no idea what to do about bob
3) add all this together and try balancing that with school and sports every day!! stress to the max!!

I believe, Danny is not the same person as Agent Pendrell, since there was one season eight episode where Dogget has also asked for Danny’s help. Agent Pendrell died in season four!
